I was worried that Kaylee would get all dirty and eat the dirt. Worst case scenario: eat cat poop - we have barn cats that hang around the house. Luckily, it turned out to be best case scenario: she was interested enough in the leaves that she didn't dig around too much, and she even listened to me when I told her not to put the leaves in her mouth! I thought it would be fun to sort leaves by colours (found the idea here), because it can't hurt to introduce colors and sorting now!
Conclusion: Playing in the leaves is not a big deal. (BTW, in case you missed it, this bootcamp is entirely for me to get over my anxiety over messiness!)
