1. She slept in her crib last night! It took a lot of the susie game (she spits it out and fusses, I get up and give it back, repeat 5 minutes later). Grammy was actually the one taking care of her though, as I had a nasty stomach flu all day yesterday and I didn't want to risk Kaylee getting it. I miss cuddling with her, feeding her, and even changing her diapers (because she smiles at me on the changing pad).
2. She FINALLY lost her umbilical cord! She lost it this morning while Grammy was changing her diaper. Wahoo!! I've been waiting so long for it to be gone... It stayed on for 8.5 weeks!
I wish Ilia would take a pacifier, it's something we're struggling with hehe. Grats on finally being able to see her belly button! They are cute!
ReplyDeleteNo kidding! It's an innie. I was struggling with her diapers because she's outgrown the newborn ones with the umbilical cord cutout, but I didn't want the bigger (more comfortable) diapers to irritate it.
