Another Baby Check

but first...
Congrats to Amber and Perry Ross, on the birth of their beautiful daughter Ilia May Ross! <3

So Kaylee went to baby check last week and made up for what she didn't gain the week before :) This week she was 9lbs 3.75oz, and hasn't gotten any taller.

She kind-of sat up a bit a few days ago! She was leaning back on Grandpa's lap, and pulled herself upright! She did it a few times. She's also starting to kind-of crack a smile sometimes, and I'm pretty sure it's not a gassy smile! AND she's started cooing and making more noise, as if she's talking without words! She can hold her head up on her own for quite a while now. I'm so impressed!

And, once again, she was such an angel while we were out today. Gramma and I were at two craft sales in Moose Jaw today and she was in her front carrier, sleeping on my chest all afternoon. I don't think she made a peep. So many people were asking about her and commenting on her and wanting to see her face. She was super patient with me leaning her back so strangers could peer at her. Total angel <3

Whenever I see cute baby things, I can't stop myself from getting them. I can tell this is gonna be a problem! I have a very strong inclination to buy every single owl thing I see, but I've been stopping myself... sometimes. I was in Regina last week and in one trip, she gained 7 more owl things (between Sears, Toys R Us, and Old Navy). Today at the craft sale I saw a couple owl things, but they weren't baby things, and as such, I didn't get them.

  1. Thanks hon!
Awww grats on a smiley baby! So far Ilia has a really calm temperament too, but that may be because of jaundice apparently. One can dream? hehe.

And as for the shopping epidemic...Christmas is coming...dear lord help me lol! This should be fun =) I have a gift for you, maybe I can send it home with a mother and you can pick it up from like Timmies next time you are in town or somesuch.

    Take care!!!
