She's started having tub baths now and it is so much more awesome! We both thought the sponge baths were torture - she screamed bloody murder through them and I felt so awful for making her scream so bad! But she really enjoys her tub of warm water! Yesterday she fell asleep deeply after her bath (in the morning), so I'm thinking I'll try bathing her tonight right before she's *supposed* to go to sleep...
... because the last two nights she's been WIDE AWAKE when we're supposed to be going to sleep (just after midnight). Right after a big warm bottle. I thought that would make her sleepy, but apparently not! Both nights she ended up sleeping in bed with me, and that was just fine with her! She was really fussy in her crib, but she quiets right down if she can sleep in bed with me. And then she sleeps for a long time! Yesterday she got me up around 7am, and today she let me sleep until 8am! Holy cow! Two full nights of sleep - I can really feel the difference because I've been so much more productive after a whole night's sleep. When she gets up, I can feed her a bottle and then she falls asleep on me (in the morning of course, but not at night!) and then will sleep some more in her crib while I pump, craft, have breakfast, shower, etc. It's
a-w-e-s-o-m-e! She's still being a total angel - yesterday we were probably away from home more than being at home and she was great about it! We went to Moose Jaw in the afternoon for our last baby check. She's now 10lbs 1oz, but she's overdue for a big poopie so that's probably not all just her! There was just a tiny bit of crying every time I put her in her carseat in her starfish costume (aka awesome snowsuit that she isn't really big enough for yet!) Then we went to Regina and spent the evening in a restaurant with a lot of people! She slept quietly in her carseat while I had my supper, and then was being passed from person to person and had lots of people talking to her, holding her, and tickling her feet! She started sqeaking a few times, but she was due for a feeding so it's understandable. She is so amazing. And she continued to be good for another hour so she could be fed at home!
