Holy baby laundry! I'm still working on washing everything from baby shower, and extra stuff my parents got for Kaylee. Wow. Between the different colours of loads, and the sheer amount of it, I've done about 9 loads so far (not all today!!). Presumably, this will not always be the case. I'm just washing everything because I'm supposed to wash it all before it gets used. All of it is so cute and soft, I'm trying to be super careful with everything, so it's all be machine wash cold gentle cycle, and tumble dry delicate cycle. Oh laundry... but I love how cute everything is!! :D
Also, today I've felt some light pains/cramps, but nothing very painful and none of it was at regular intervals. And my back hurts right now, but I suspect that's from standing around all evening making cookies and folding laundry ;)
No labour yet, which is good because the room still isn't together completely, the bags aren't packed, and I still don't know how to install the carseat for sure! I read the manual for the carseat and the Tuscon owner's manual for related info, but it's like they're in two different languages. I get the feeling from the carseat manual that the seatbelts in the Tuscon aren't compatable and I'll have to use a UAS, but the Tuscon manual doesn't mention anything about a UAS, but something about some sort of tethers for childseats (and it's very unclear to me about how to use them!). However, the seatbelts in the Tuscon itself have a label saying that I can just pull out the belt all the way so they lock when they retract and use them with carseats. So I'm confused. I want to play with installing it, but I also feel like that will be useless because I won't know for sure if I can actually use the carseat/seatbelts that way. Argh.
In regards to the car seat I think you can just go to a fire station and they can help you install it correctly and show you how to do it on your own :)
