Remember, just like a butterfly, she too will spread her wings and fly some day.
Enjoy her caterpillar years.

Kids Look At These Crayons (uh huh I make art!)

Since my friends showed me this video on Friday, I've had it playing on repeat in my head. It's so awesome! Tickle tickle tickle tickle tickle (yeah), tickle tickle tickle tickle tickle (yeah)!

Otherwise, Kaylee and I went to the Science Centre with my friend Jen last Thursday. The Titanic exhibit was on, and it seemed like a good chance to see it! That part of the science centre was not very interesting for Kaylee as it was more like a museum than something she could interact with.

Funny story from another part of the science centre: Kaylee is awesome at recognizing cows. She saw one in an exhibit about methane in the atmosphere, and ran over to it saying "Moo! Moo!!". There was a motion detector on it, and it started playing peaceful meadow sounds when it detected Kaylee, and then it let out a giant wet fart noise! Kaylee got scared and ran over to me crying and wanting to be picked up. I definitely wish I could say I had that on video, but sadly I was not expecting the cow to do that either!!

Kaylee was excellent at sharing a basketball
with a couple other kids

Kaylee's colourful shadows!

Her hand has grown so much since she
was born, and yet it's still so small!

I loved this idea: Velcro wall! All the shapes
had velcro on them and could stick to the wall.
Another idea I saw there was a little house
framed in 2x4's with the sticky velcro stapled
to the wood, and then light wood siding with the
soft velco on it so kids could kind-of build their
house!

Then we went to a nice bistro place and had quiche and brownies. Kaylee loved it! (So did I). Kaylee kept trying to put her feet on the table and this was kind of a fancy place, so I kept pushing her feet off the table and eventually just moved her chair way away from the table. An elderly lady told Kaylee that I was trying to get her to be a lady and she didn't have to be if she didn't want to be. :-P

Yesterday, Kaylee sat in the kitchen and pulled
cook books off the shelf to page through
them. Every time she saw a picture,
she was like, "Mmmmmm!!!!"
So cute!
